My next door neighbor had a brother named Asa. When I heard her call his name in conversation for the first time I questioned her about it. It’s a different name. And as much as I have read and studied the Bible, I was stunned to learn that it’s a biblical name. I looked it up after she told me that. She was right. Asa, my favorite name for a male. Katlin, my favorite name for a female. ---

I don’t really have a favorite, but the funniest name I ever heard was: Coy Glasscock. He started to work a few weeks before I left. I had a hard time keeping a straight face when I said his name. A really nice guy, but what were his parents thinking?!! ---

I’ve always liked the name Geneva for a girl. My nephew is named Atem (pronounced like A-hem) and I’ve liked that name too. ---

always liked Carrie for a girls name, and Isabella, but I don’t think I’d call a daughter that. ---

I think Alicia is a nice name, and I also like Pamela but it always reminds me of Pamela Anderson (bit…). I like Pam in the movie The Doors, I think that was cute. ---

I like Elza for a girl and Oscar for a boy. My best friend would’ve named her child Otto had it been a boy. I was like, “would the middle name be Parts?” ---

I also like Isabella for a girl, as well as Marina (don’t laugh). I like William and Peter for boys’ names as well ---

I’ve always been partial to the variant Isabeau, and for a boy’s name, I think Daniel and Thomas are great–they can grow with the kid–Danny and Tommy as a baby, Dan and Tom as youngsters, and the very dignified Daniel and Thomas when they grow into lawyers or lawn care experts. ---

**Asa, my favorite name for a male** How is that pronounced?? I like the name Madison for a girl. Not sure about favorite boy name. My friend Ed is pretty old, WWII old, and he told me a story about a girl named Gerdy Naggits and another named Audrey Buzzboom! If those aren’t two of the funniest names ever! ---
