I can’t get that insidious “Pumped Up Kicks” out of my head. I heard it for the first time (don’t listen to a lot of radio) last week, and now I must have heard it 100 times since. It’s everywhere, and in my freaking head! ---

Right now I’m dealing with three, all of which are welcome: [ul] [li]The jazz standard “You Go To My Head,” because of a new guy in my life.[/li][li]“Tonight Tonight” by Hot Chelle Rae. Dumbest band name ever, but quite a catchy tune.[/li][li]Karen Carpenter’s “Merry Christmas, Darling,” because in a couple of weeks I’m recording a cover of it for a charity Christmas CD.[/ul][/li]Usually I go around humming/singing whatever the last song I heard was, but the above titles have been stuck in my head all week. 🙂 ---
