They’re normally made with pastrami or corned beef. And they’re waaay better than reubens. I prefer the pastrami version. I wonder how many of people who answered “sloppy joe” were referring to the high school cafeteria ground beef version. ---

I voted thusly: Reuben Italian sub (must contain capicola, oil, and ground pepper) Sausage sandwich. I’m talking about a “Bob Evans” sandwich-- sausage patty on a hamburger bun with ketchup and thinly sliced onion. Mandatory at Ohio County fairs. ---

I like pretty much every sandwich in your poll, but sandwich perfection is achieved with a homegrown tomato, Duke’s mayo, salt and pepper on white bread. ---
