IF you think Sean Bean is herroic and cool in LotR you must watch the Sharpe made for TV films. Sharpe “Give him best French Brandy half half” Soldier “Half half, sir ?” Sharpe “Yes half inside him, and half poured over the wounds.” or Sharpe “The French will be marching towards you, they fire three rounds a minute. If you fire just three rounds a minute you’re all dead. But if you fire four rounds a minute, the French column will slow, and then they’ll stop, and then they’ll run away. Sergent if you see any man here doing anything not in the book…” Sergent interupts “Take down his name, Sir?” Sharpe “No! Give the man, a bloody, mug of brandy.” ---

**a35362** , have you seen “Essex Boys”? It’s a mediocre “Resevoir Dogs” clone, but Sean Bean is fantastic in it. So menacing…_shiver_ ---

Sean doesn’t seem to have much for memorable lines based on the words. It’s his delivery that makes them work on the screen, but hard to use in this thread. ---

In one of the Sharpe’s movies (possibly the same one I mentioned above), Sharpe comes up behind Hakeswill, who is haranging the men as usual. Hakeswill spins around and says, “Eyes in the back o’ me 'ead, _Sharpie_.” And Sharpe says, “Is that where you keep them? They swivel so.” ---
