Just heard “Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere” (_Ready Steady Go_ version), saw it was 1965, and figured it had to be December of that year. It’s so obviously post-_Rubber Soul_, post-_Out of Our Heads_, post-_Kinkdom_. Wrong. It’s from **April**. Wow. ---

There are several great Who songs, but I have to go with the OP, as that ten seconds of groove between the rhythm guitar and the drums about two-thirds of the way through the song are one of the coolest ten seconds in all of rock and roll. ---

Not really a Who fan, but I love “Squeeze Box.” It’s fun to play it for people. “Trim Up The Tree” is a favorite this time of year. 😉 ---

Tattoo The Song is Over A story: When I used to turn my radio dial to get my college stations, the big classic rock station signal used to bully it’s way in, so that you had to jiggle with it a little. i swear that for a whole year or more it was always a song from “Who’s Next” No lie! It’s tough to keep loving it, but I do. ---
