I love Justified, but Raylan Givins isn’t the best character on the show. Boyd Crowder is a combination of Angel and Demon that keeps you guessing. That is not to say that Raylan Givens isn’t a pretty good character. He has some good lines and he has some dark side to keeping him being too vanilla.

No argument from me. That list in the OP was not necessarily a complete list by any means. I still feel that Omar Little is close to my all-time favorite single charcter, in spite of some good arguments in this thread for others I have liked a lot.

As for Justified, and aside from Boyd Crowder, the show has a great cast, including the folks who have been killed off after an episode or two. In that respect, I can’t name another show that I’m watching these days that comes close in that department. Coupled with some snappy dialog, the characters make it my #1 show. Can’t wait for its return!

Can anybody name another currently running (not yet cancelled) show with as outstanding a cast as Justified?

I can’t think of any show currently, but the West Wing was better in it’s prime. Great characters are the product of great writing and nobody beat the writing on West Wing. Even a great actor can’t over come lousy dialog.
