Dave was all showmanship, not much else. wasn’t even a good singer but Eddie liked that.

Sammy could actually play the guitar, but Eddie didn’t want to let him. Known as the little Red Rocker even before those days. It was all Eddie all of the time. He just wanted some background noise from the singers. The original Montrose album was Sammy’s star moment.
