The very first Simpsons Christmas ep was darn good. Marge is writing the Christmas card & bragging about what everyone has accomplished all year. She gets to Bart:
“…We think Maggie will say her first word any day now. And Bart? Well, we love Bart.”

I really liked the more recent Christmas ep, with the talking astrolabe.

Definitely Simpsons Roasting on An Open Fire. Not only a great episode by itself, but the start of something huge. Realy huge. Gigantic. Genormous. Something undescribable.
