And he still insists on wearing his hair long even though much of it is gone. I had a _huge_ crush on [Wil Wheaton](http://www.readthesmiths.com/articles/Images/Tech/Geeks/wheaton.jpg) during the Wesley Crusher days. I recently went on an awesome nerd cruise organized by Jonathan Coulton and Paul & Storm, and Wil Wheaton was one of the performers. Wil Wheaton was my first celebrity crush as well. He’s grown up quite well. I loved him on The Guild; love how he’s willing to make fun of himself with that part. It’s so over the top. And the recent exchanges with The Bloggess have really reinforced the idea that I chose well when I was 12. Of course, by the time I got to 14, I was crushing on Picard. A captain is much better than an “acting ensign.” ---
