Your first furniture in the MMP

What? In the land of 10,000 lakes? Surely there is somewhere close enough that you could find some relief.
Also, don’t the drug stores in MSP give COVID shots? The ones here in metropolitan Detroit do.

Alll this talk about taking languages in school. I took shorthand, 3 semesters, still use it from time to time when I need to take notes. When I worked in San Antonio, they had a suboffice in Laredo and I learned some Spanish there. Then 4 months before I returned to the Mitten, I had a client in Eagle Pass; it was a lawyer for an estate that had been spinach farmers. They hadn’t filed any taxes in years; nor did anyone ever keep any accounting records. There were tons of documents in the office and it was my task to make sense of them, prepare financial records and the tax returns. I was there for close to 3 months. The daughter of the decedent would come in regularly and she taught me a lot of Spanish. The most memorable phrase was Eres muy guapo. Never really did have an opportunity to use it.

After so many mentions of the slutty brownies, I had to look them up as well. Betty Crocker has a box mix that makes a chocolate chip cookie brownie bar. All that’s missing are the oreos. When I bring the chocolate chip cookie brownie bars, everyone loves them. I’m not sure what the addition of oreos would do to them. I’m up in the air; don’t think I’d like it.

oh sheesh, talking about little rooms. For my final term I rented a room in a house that was the size of a shoebox. It fit my twin bed and a very small cubby to put my clothes in. The aisle next to the bed was no more than 18".

I’ve been trying to get caught up all day but so much that was going on precluded me from getting any further than post 75. Will try tomorrow.

What went on. . . .well, first thoroughly watered the garden with 8 gallons of water then refilled all the jugs, washed black garments that had some bleach stains, watched a fair amount of Wimbledon, when daughter and girlfriend came over, first worked with girlfriend to cut up the limb that ripped off the tree, sorting into usable firewood after it ages and unusable twigs and leaves into the yard waste barrel, then helped daughter with redying my black garments, took Bella for a long walk, made lunch for the 3 of us-ham & cheese sandwiches with bell pepper strips, fresh cuke wedges that I picked this morning (Hubs was on his own), then Hubs & I went to the Stem Cell Clinic for follow-up appointment and he finally was given an MMR shot. He has to get another one in 2 months. When we returned home, I finished the process with the black garments by first making a solution of very hot water and the Colorstay Dye Fixative and stirring the garments within the solution for 20 minutes then rinsing with cold water. Next I filled 2 weeks worth of pills for Hubs. The good news is the Dr said he doesn’t have to take 2 more prescriptions any more so he’s down to only 6 different pills each day, although some of them he takes both morning and evening, then I filtered about 4 gallons of water and made spaghetti with meat sauce and broccoli for dinner; finished the rest of the key lime pie for dessert. (since the power was only off for 14 hrs, we didn’t lose any food)

Whew, I’m beat particularly since I woke up about 4:15am and it’s now 11pm. So, Imma hit the hay, Hope to catch up with all you fine peeps tomorrow. G’Night.
