Inspired by all the other sex threads floating around here. I’m not looking for sordid details, but I’m curious about the following: How old were you/your partner? Where did you do it (i.e. your house/apartment, parent’s house, dorm room, car, etc.)? Did/do you love that person? Were you married, engaged, etc.? Are you still with that person? Do you have any regrets (i.e. about the person, the timing, not waiting longer, waiting too long :eek: etc.)? If anyone else wants to add questions, please feel free, but I’d like to stay away from too many intimate details. ---

It seems only fair to answer my own questions so here goes: How old were you/your partner? Both 23 Where did you do it ? My townhouse Did/do you love that person? Not then - just looking to get laid 😃 - but now (2 1/2 years later), yes. Were you married, engaged, etc.? No Are you still with that person? Yes Do you have any regrets? Occassionally, I think that it would have been nice to have done it with the guy I was involved with before my current bf. I don’t regret that the previous relationship ended, but I’m curious about what it would have been like with that guy. ---

I was 26, she was 21 Her apartment, Living room. I still have deep feelings for her. She was, and still is married. Regrets, yes a few. Waited to long. Killed two birds with one stone. ---

I was 12 and he was 15. We did it under a tree in a park near my mom’s house. No, I didn’t love him. I wasn’t even dating him. The only regret I have is that I didn’t wait till I was a little older but I can’t blame anyone but myself for that because it was all my idea. ---

Both 18. In my dorm room, while my roommate was taking a nap. We had to stop when my roommate’s cell phone went off and he woke up. Romantic huh? We were in love, but we’re not together anymore, and we were just dating at the time. ---

I’m sorry we were both virgins and I have since come to conclude your first time should not be with another virgin but someone who is both experienced and gentle, i.e. compassionate. He may have had fun but I sure didn’t. ---

How old were you/your partner? I was 19, she was around the same, can’t remember. Where did you do it ? My apartment. Did/do you love that person? I thought I did, but no. Were you married, engaged, etc.? No. Are you still with that person? No, haven’t seen her in 27 years, don’t care to. Do you have any regrets? I wish I had known what I was getting myself into. me 19 / her 24 (or was it 27?) her house. Started in the living room, and moved to her bedroom when her roomies came home nope and nope I wasn’t, she was legally. Her husband had walked out a few years before, and she had no idea where he was. Nope Should have done it sooner with someone else, but no regrets about this situation. I felt bad when I broke it all off a couple of months later, because she cared more for me than I did for her. Also, it was a little awkward at work (although we did, er, _get together_ from time to time at the hospital where we worked.) ---

Were you married, engaged, etc.? No; it was a long-distance relationship that had just been consummated after several months. Are you still with that person? No; we drifted apart once we were in college. Do you have any regrets (i.e. about the person, the timing, not waiting longer, waiting too long etc.)? About the event itself, not a one. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. I do, though, as **flickster** mentioned, regret having lost touch with her, even though I’ve been married and divorced in the meantime, and am in a serious relationship right now. It just would be nice to have maintained friendly contact. Oh, well. ---
