Up: Some peak in the San Bernardinos that’s about 10K feet high. Down: Death Valley West: Probably Astoria, OR, unless you count the cruise ship that brought me there, which at some points in its journey was farther west than that. There’s also a town in California called Arena Point, that claims to be the most western point in the continental US, but it’s clear on any map that parts of Washington State and Oregon are farther west. South: Ensenada, BC East: Vienna North: Hamburg In just the United States, my farthest point north would be Bellingham, WA ---

If you disregard commercial airline travel (41 000 feet on the way to California one time), my highest was either Rogers Pass, Kicking Horse Pass, or somewhere in Yosemite park. My lowest was sea level (unless you count riding a train in the Channel Tunnel). ---

North: Barrow, Alaska. So I do get credit there. South: Honolulu East: St. Petersburg, Russia West: Also Honolulu Highest: Somewhere in the Pacific Northwest, I’m sure - Crater Lake, maybe, or thereabouts. Lowest: I was on a submarine in Hawaii, so that’s below sea level a little. ---

How exactly are we defining eastern and westernmost? International Date Line? If so: Northernmost: Edinburgh, Scotland, UK Southernmost: Tasmania, Australia Easternmost: Tasmania, Austalia (unless you count the stopover in Auckland, New Zealand) Westernmost: Lana’i, Hawai’i, USA Highest: maybe Independence Pass in Colorado Lowest: No clue. Maybe somewhere in the Netherlands ---
