And FTR, let me just state, I asked this question strictly in the confines of a hypothetical. If this were to actually happen in the real world, and you have no idea why your partner is passed out, Of COURSE you should stop right there and figure out what’s wrong. The hypo I posted in my OP isn’t likely to happen in the real world. ---

I’m of the opinion, unless you’ve got some odd social contract with your partner, that if you’re in a strong, sexual relationship with someone, impulsively going for a little sumthin’ sumthin’ when the mood strikes, is a’ok… even welcome. Unless during the move, it’s explicitly stated they don’t wanna. Your hypothetical, however for me, doesn’t seem to hit on the point of rape (only a side-consequence), but what kind of person are you that can still keep going, knowing your partner is unconscious, not interacting, and (despite your hypothetical, which brings magic into it), adds an element of concern for your lover. Even if I knew 100% she was okay, I’d just stop. It’s a turn off. Or another way: If they can’t interact or know with what you’re doing to them, I don’t think it’s ethical to continue. And if you’re like me, you wouldn’t want to anyway.
