A little off the direct topic but related: I’ve occasionally had this scenario run through my head - Since the end of the Cold War, Boris and Natasha have needed to seek other employment. Boris calls up his old coworker to see how she is. Boris: “How you are like-ink new job at animal grooming parlor?” Natasha: “Ees nice, but beezy. Whenever I find something that I have been looking for for a long time: "Oh goody! My illudium Q-36 explosive space modulator. " Sometimes I’ll do a Snagglepuss schtick like in stage left when he says “The door is open, ajar even.” Example: In my best Snagglepuss voice, I’ll say “That cat is insane, crazy even”. ---

My wife’s Hungarian and son is eleven so our cartoon touchstones are of recent vintage. Whenever someone points out something that’s arguably technically correct but stupid and irrelevant, there are a couple of good Simpsons quotes I like to use: “Batman’s a scientist” “There’s an Air In Space Museum” And another Simpsons quote I sometimes use: “There’s no trick to it – it’s just a simple trick!” ---
