Whenever I get software updates for my desktop it’s a crapshoot as to whether they’ll unattach all my automatic sign-ons. Several months ago MS was doing it on the regular. I had to go through what wolfpup did each time, but it wasn’t a serious big deal. Everybody wants 2FA these days.
