I used to work management for a small amusment park. Every Friday they had a senior management meeting, leaving one of the operations supervisors like me in charge. The standing rule was, you don’t interrupt this meeting for anything but a fire or a dead employee. The meeting ran from 3-6pm, shift change was at 5pm My fantasy was always to, call and cancel the entire night crew, and have day shift do a full close out on the registers instead of a shift change closeout. The looks on the faces when they came downstairs to a cleaned, powered down, and closed park at 6pm on a Friday night would have been priceless. ---

[/QUOTE] I put in a 30 day notice at my last regular job (self employed now). I was let go with full pay for the last week even though they had failed to find a replacement yet. They too were worried that I would “do something”. My level of access to our inventory and being one of the 3-4 people in the company of 4,000 who understood our inventory systems scripting functions, would have enabled me to scramble the locator system of every warehouse in the western US if I wanted to and since it was a script doing it, the transaction logs would read that the task was performed by an internal update process, not a specific user. A billion dollar a year business brought to its knees by one disgruntled employee, ooooh the powah!! ---

[/QUOTE] The irony is, in my case, I doubt I could have done anything worse to them, then they had already done to themselves.
