# Your iTunes play count

My iPod doesn’t change the play count on my itunes. I don’t even think my iPod keeps track of play count (It’s over four years old. Back before the days of touching, color, click wheels, etc) It would be cool if it did though.

The accuracy of Musicmatch’s counting leaves a lot to be desired, but…

The Underwater “First Shot”  
Fallout Boy “Dance, Dance”  
Carolinia Liar “I’m Not Over”  
Bloc Party “The Prayer”  
Make Believe “Say What You Mean”  
Zulu Pearls “Come Back”  
Finger Eleven “Falling On”  
Klaxons “As is Above, So Below”  
Hail Social “Hands Are Tied”  
Hoobastank “Inside of You”

One of the problems is that it doesn’t count anything not officially added to the library yet. Another is it seems as though it occasionally resets itself.

Great song. But not my favorite Zero 7 song (which is one reason why my iTunes count seems wrong), that would be Distractions (which was even better listening to it live at the Hollywood Bowl last year).
