Technically I was too young to even be aware of any possible bad feelings on my side, but my parents had a miniature poodle called Pepi when they had me. He was insanely jealous of me, would soil the drapes and do other sorts of actings-out. Ironically, I turned out to be a big animal lover and never had a “problem” pet ever again. Least favorite “present” your pet left you (may include least favorite “place” it got left at) ---

Puff the Magic Clown - this was in high school. Puff the Clown’s magic tricks were fine for grade-school audiences, but not for more savvy high-schoolers. He didn’t even have his hot babe assistant Brenlinda with him. Volunteers from the audience weren’t impressed and would shout “It’s in your sleeve!” Poor guy managed to make it through the show, but it was hugely awkward. Got a ribbon for 95th place in a cross country meet senior year (I wasn’t a long distance runner. I was just trying to keep in shape for track in the spring as a jumper/sprinter). Ribbons were awarded to 100th. I’d rather I didn’t get a ribbon at all than be reminded of how much I hate cross country. Least favorite track or field event. ---
