As I just mentioned in another thread (and so am morally obliged to mention here as I said I would) Sir Stephen from the Story of O Cassidy from Preacher which should give you a pretty good idea of the span of my taste in men…although I tend to be a little more rational in real life. ---

True. Claire is not afraid of getting up in his face and telling him what’s what. But, dayum, you _know_ he loves her. When I read _A Breath of Snow and Ashes_, and got to that part where What’shername accuses Jamie of getting her pregnant I knew there was no way in hell. Absolutely not. Never a shred of doubt. ---

I know its a bit cliche but I think **Elizabeth Bennet** is quite high on my list. I think my first real literary crush was **Liza Khokhlakov** from _The Brothers Karamazov_. Other would be (in no particular order): **Adelaida Ivanovna Yepanchin** from _The Idiot_ **Petra Arkanian** from the Ender series. **Haydée** from _The Count of Monte Cristo_ I am sure that there have been others but that is all that comes to mind at the moment.
