My mother and I laughed when we tried to explain it to people, but apparently you had to see it to get why it was funny. No one ever laughs when we would tell the story. Glunderglitch - my friend Todd and I were stoned while watching Gulliver’s Travels. I kept giggling at the giant farmer’s daughter’s name, which is actually Glumdalclitch. To this day, Todd and I will say “Glunderglitch” to each other and break out laughing. We have several other inside jokes like “Tick Boy” and “puling.” Let’s keep a good thing going. English is my wife’s fourth language, so at times, there are perfectly innocuous things I say that sound hilarious to her and she repeats them roaring with laughter. They become leitmotifs. Like when we play Yahtzee, and I have to put a “stupid nine” in the 4-of-a-kind box. Favorite animal with four letters in its name. ---
