OK, the helmet stickers thing is just stupid and annoying, and it’s not just Ohio State, either. Everybody who uses them is stupid and annoying. ---

I’m not going to try and defend the “THE Ohio State University,” and I am a fan of the team, and I understand the Big Ten doesn’t have a conference title game and didn’t perform very well in the bowls for a few years (though they did perform well this past bowl season), but I always thought the backlash against OSU was WAY out of proportion. If it’s because they have douche bag fans, well…I think most college football teams have douche bag fans. ---

I personally think it is extremely arrogant to say THE Ohio State University. I am sure there are many other fine state universities funded by the citizens of Ohio. ---
