Blonde, I’ve heard a few of those Three Forks ads and was under the impression that Colleen was the owner’s wife. Seems he usually has something corny to say about her. ---

Sorry, **JuanitaTech** ; I have to agree with **Phlosphr** : _Killing Me Softly_ makes _my_ skin crawl too. I just have these images of suffocation. Sometimes having a visual imagination is a curse. I think I’m glad I don’t know any of these radio jingles. **Salem** , I _like Seasons in the Sun_. Of course, I also like _Macarthur Park_. 🙂 Yes, _Achy Breaky Heart_ is on my Loathe List as well, but I felt better about it after it was parodied by Weird Al. _Coward of the County_ makes me want to throw the radio through the wall. Others on my Loathe List: [ul][_]Nikita by Elton John. They played this song ALL THE TIME on the radio at my first summer job. I started to call it the Power Tool Song, after Makita, the brand of power tool. How could someone who made such great stuff in the early seventies implode so drastically? Listening to it was worse than reading a William Shatner novel![_]_The Lady In Red_. Don’t remember who did that one, other than that it was someone from the late seventies who should have known better.[\*][/ul]More recent material? I don’t generally listen to the radio that much any more, getting most of my stuff from friends’ recommendations and highly genre-specific downloads, when I don’t wander into a store, hear it playing, and ask what it is. ---

**Torn** by Natalie Imbruglia. I thought radio stations would have realized by now that we STILL don’t need to hear this song twice a day, every day, since it’s been out for YEARS. I just want to scream ‘SHUT UP’ every time I hear it. ---

“Tenderness” by Modern English is the worst song ever, in the history of music. No melody, no hook, no structure… it just sorta dribbles on like a feeble stream. ---

About 30 seconds of a guy screaming AUUGGGHHHH!!! Then the commercial follows about cajun taste not being necessarily spicy, just that taste, it’s for Chili’s I think. Nothing like driving to work and hearing that every morning. BEEP BEEP it’s GURLEY LEEP!!! Over and over again. ---

Let’s see if anyone on the board recognizes this one: “Goin’ to the fair, goin’ to the fair, goin’ to the Northwest Michigan Fair…” Every year that I can recall, it’s been that same stupid jingle.
