I asked the vet if I should have brought the worm in, and they replied that my description was good enough. Afterwards, he started to gain weight and his stools became more normal. Now that he’s about 17 years old, I put Miralax in his water on the vet’s recommendation. ---

Our tortoise, Kevin, had extremely foul smelling feces. I had a sample evaluated by the veterinarian. He had several intestinal parasites, but a three day course of fendbendazole fixed him up. His appetite improved, and his stools became nearly odorless (not surprising on a simple, vegetarian diet). ETA: talking shit, we are. ---

Well, there was the one time I honestly felt like I was shitting a brick sideways. Something had gone wrong well back up the line one fine Saturday morning and I had a terrible, not quite painful, bloated feeling for a couple of hours. Tore things up on the way out when I finally had enough and sat down to get rid of it. Another time I pooped out an anaconda that curled around on itself twice and ended up looking like the Greek letter phi (or the Russian ф). And then there’s the one that I thought looked like a frosted Pop-Tart sculpted out of feces, but I was three sheets to the wind at the time and really can’t vouch for its actual appearance. ---

Weird about my one son is that his poops in his diaper were always these little balls. While my others sons were always very loose and almost like diarrhea. Always took several wipes to clean him. ---

I was taking a lot of opiates for an unremitting migraine and, of course, not getting my usual amount of exercise. To get things moving, I ate beans and rice. The next one was like giving birth. I could’ve used an epidural. ---
