I also went with Kirk in the Nexus, but then went with Picard because he’s supposed to eventually become senile. Then I got stuck on number 3, since it also seemed to be Picard for the reason you said. Then I realized that Kirk actually chose to leave the Nexus once he realized it was fake. (And, if you go by the books, was revived by Borg nanoprobes and still goes on adventures with Spock and a rejuvenated Bones.) ---

Ugly bag of mostly water!! And what was the name of that pool of evil slime at the end of TOS? It was all the worst parts of the population gathered into one being and then left alone to suffer. It almost passive agressived Kirk to death. Anyway, call him one of those. But if you really want to get strategic, say this: “Your Mother was a hamster and your Father smelt of elderberries.” I’d estimate a good 83% of internet denizens can be completely sidetracked from any goal - no matter the urgency - by the simple expediency of instigating a competitive bout of Monty Python quotes. And there is no need to declare a bout, just use a quote and the rest will follow. The only unaffected opponents will be those who lack the nascent competitive drive to take up the challenge, or who are simply too young to get the reference. Thus leaving you to mop up the non-combatants and the noobs. ---

I think you’re thinking of the TNG episode Skin of Evil, aka, the one where Tasha dies. Unless that was a yet another TOS episode remake in the first season of the new show. ---
