I’ve seen these types of things on other sites and figure the Dopers should be the best at it since they’re the best at everything. I’ll get the ball rolling. (Please, no political jabs.) With each wipe of the makeup removal cloth, the clown’s face grew increasingly terrifying. and My new hand regarded my screams to drop the knife with complete disinterest. ---

I’ve seen these as [two-sentences,](http://justsomething.co/20-terrifying-two-sentence-horror-stories-that-will-make-you-hold-your-breath/) One sentence may be more challenging. He heard a wolf howl outside his window, which was strange, considering he lived on the tenth floor. ---
