He tried to wake up from the nightmare but of course he couldn’t as he was already awake. She woke up naked in an room containing only a tablecloth, cheese grater and a box of Kleenex. ---

The Exxon tanker truck on the highway in front of him seemed to be moving left without its blinkers on… and before its slow sideways rolling motion had crushed even the first two feet of the front of his hood, the wreckage and debris of its cab, now swinging like a flail above his sunroof, surprised him. ---
