Your opinions on the Huffington Post?

HuffPo runs a lot of ridiculous health pieces in which antivaccination garbage and other woo is presented as fact. As this article notes, one rank example was a blog post by an idiot promoting “deep cleansing enemas” to prevent swine flu.

Another regular contributor to HuffPo has been Dana Ullman, homeopath and wooist extraordinaire.

Not all of HuffPo’s science and medicine articles are bad, but a disturbingly high proportion are hazardous to your health.

Yes they do, and that’s what ultimately led me to give up on them. I don’t mind far left slants because I happen to have a far left slant, but they play fast and loose with the truth. I can’t be bothered to go sleuthing for examples right now, but I’ve more than once read things posted on there that have been objectively untrue, or omit relevant information which makes the article misleading. They don’t source their information at all, and will freely post anything some guy wrote up on his liberal blog. It’s not a reliable source for news from an unabashedly left leaning source. It’s just a stream of static from the left, the truthfulness of which is entirely irrelevant.
