Video quick recap: A guy on a train starts laughing. This induces mirth in the fellow passengers. Somehow supposed to sell Coke. My take: As opposed to reality where people would inch away from the crazy person. ---

in general we don’t like OPs that are nothing more than a link and command to “read this” or “watch this” something and comment. This thread has got some legs, though, and I’d rather not close it. OP here. Thanks IvoryTowerDenizen. And to the others that bring up Coke. That doesn’t matter. I personally think it’s GREAT to see someone laugh. It definitely is contagious, imo. During most of the video I thought of what would happen in the DC Metro and how unrealistic it was. People here would just ignore the guy or, like me, be annoyed. Then, surprisingly, right at the end I got something in my eye. Not sure how to take that. ---

Laughter is contagious; I can imagine it happening that way. The fact that he’s fake laughing and it’s really an advertising stunt goes to show how easily people are manipulated. ---

For those like me that use mass transit every day, I would have assumed he was just another drunk passenger trying to get attention. And if he was in an NJ Transit “quiet car”, I would have feared for his life. ---
