I have a dog and 2 cats. They don’t sleep on my bed, but the kids let them sleep on theirs. On their adoption anniversary we give them a specially cooked treat (like an omelet with chopped up dog biscuits). ---

My little dog Louie sleeps in the bed under the covers attached to me like a leech. I would not have it any other way. The cat Scooter sometimes will sleep at the foot of the bed. I do cook special meals for them, mostly chicken and rice. I do buy presents. Louie has clothes but is not crazy about wearing them. My pets are closer than some actual family members. ---

I would never dress up my cat but I’d like to see you try to stop her from sleeping on my bed, given that I live in a studio and that she’s been sleeping on my bed, by my feet, since the same day I brought her home over two years ago. And she’s Siamese. (She never did the hide for three days thing most cats do when brought into a new home. She apparently felt very secure in her choice of me.) ---
