# Your Search Engine Needs a Mechanic!

How come the advanced search could not find my post(s) from yesterday when searching “General Questions” using only my username. Yet, when going to a broader seach of all boards and incorporating the use of a keyword, it found it?
I don’t get it. ☹

I should have added that my post was found under General Questions where I knew it had been posted all along!
