When I walk around campus, I tend to think of “Lightning Twice” by You Were Spiraling as my walking around theme. Of course, my _official_ theme music will always be “Flagpole Sitta” by Harvey Danger. Sing it with me now, Teeming Millions: \* Been around the world and found that only stupid people\* are breeding…\* \*excluding, of course, any Dopers who wish to reproduce. In general, it would be “Eleanor Rigby” by the Beatles. Or “Namistai” by BT. “Have you Ever” by The Offspring. For an upset mode, it would be “Push It” by Static x. or “Just Got Wicked” by Cold For a depressed mode, it would probably be “Fall Apart” by NIN, or “Teenage Suicide” by Unwritten Law, Or “Amazed” by Offspring. OR “Where the Birds Always Sing” by The Cure Happy: “If You Want to Sing Out, Sing Out” by Cat Stevens. Or “Duck and Run” by 3 doors down ---

I think Chef Troy has the right idea here, but others have suggested changing with their mood. For those upbeat times, I’d go with old 1920s jazz. (Bix!) For making an entrance, maybe _Duke of Earl_ would be good. For depression, I wouldn’t change a thing. ---

Whenever I’m running on the track, field, or roads, I’d have the _Rocky_ theme music playing. Standing in front of a mirror or painting my nails or shopping - _I Enjoy Being a Girl_ I like rjk’s idea of 1920’s jazz for upbeat days. That or Irish step dancing music. For mellow days: _In the Jungle_ complete with backup group. “Am I the only one here who walks around imagining the Charlie Brown theme playing all the time?” You were until I just read that, Thing 1. (And now I have the Thing 1 and Thing 2 song stuck in my head) ---

Hmm well for me it could be one of several… Lightning Crashes by Live Believe by Savatage If I Go Away by Savatage With Arms Wide Open by Creed and if I’m kinda depressed… Lullaby for Cain by Sinead O’Conner Actually all of those are slightly dark in their own way… maybe that reflects my feelings? _shrugs_ ---

My work theme is “A Day in the Life”, by the Beatles, and “Loser”, by Beck. My love themes are “Walking in the Sand”, “Time in a Bottle”. My triumphant entrance songs are “Heroes” by David Bowie, and “Funeral March” by Chopin. My bad mood themes are “Criminal”, by Eminem, “Live and Let Die”, by McCartney, and “Fight the Power”, by Public Enemy. My travelling music are “Take the A Train”, by Stayhorn/Ellington, “MTA” by The Kingston Trio and many other songs with trains in them. ---

Now I will have theme music playing in my head as I read people’s posts… When I don’t have Robert Johnson or Buddy Guy playing for me it is usually “Hair of the Dog” by Nazareth. It works well on good and bad days. (There’s no offense intended towards my mother of course). Rick, you need to have that ego checked. 🙂 ---

Ooooh, mine do change daily - but if pressed to choose one for, say, my fantasy talk-show appearance, I’d have to go with something by **The Cramps**. _The Way I Walk_ comes to mind - but so do _Rockin’ Bones, Can’t Find My Mind,_ and _Jungle Hop_.
