> Heck! Let those little niche sites sell my info! I would far rather have my targeted ads on FaceBook show me Spider-Man plushies and D&D books, instead of Cadillacs, Kardashians, and erectile dysfunction pills!

I’ve said this before, I’d much rather my ads tend towards the latter; all the better to keep a hold of my $SS as I’m not interested in _any_ of those things\*; however, I might buy a(nother - look at username) Spiderman plushie.

- If I think of the kardashians, even ED pills won’t help ::_shudder_::

> And are they expected to hold the item for you for six months, not knowing whether you’ll ever buy it or not, when stock is low and somebody else wants to buy it? I think you at least need to shrug and take it in stride if, when you finally place the order, half the stuff shows up as ‘sold out’ even if it wasn’t sold out when you put it in the card.

I don’t think anyplace actually holds the item when you put it in your cart - and I would be completely unsurprised if the items were unavailable when I went back six months later. It doesn’t really matter to me if a company has a “wish list” or holds items in my cart or both - what I want is a way that I don’t have to look for the items again next week, when I decide to buy them because I haven’t found anything I like better.

I don’t really mind creating an account to browse - especially since I like to save items in the cart while I shop at other sites. But I won’t put payment info in until I’ve decided to buy.
