I’m not sure I’ve seen five movies this year. The best one I did see was probably ‘The Royal Tenenbaums’ (which I saw in January). I know I saw ‘Spider-Man’ and ‘Attack of the Clones’ as well, and ‘Panic Room’. I’m sure I saw something else, but I can’t remember what it might have been.

Oh, I saw ‘The Time Machine’, but it sucked. So I guess I did see five movies this year, but Tenenbaums was probably the only one worth including on any kind of list.

Oooh…I forgot about _Minority Report_ That definitely is in my top 5, so you can bump _K-19_ off my list and put _Minority Report_ in there somewhere…probably at #4.

1. Punch Drunk Love
2. Epi 2 Attack of the Clones
3. Spiderman
4. Is going to be Two Towers
5…Igby Goes Down (I guess.)

This made me realize how few movies I saw this year that I REALLY liked. But the ones I liked I really REALLY liked.

Nice to see others put it on their list. It’s an amazing movie, and god, I used to **HATE** Adam Sandler! I only went because of Paul Thomas Anderson, who is a god. I loved it.

Oooh yeah, I love John C. Reilly. That sidekick would be Tim Blake Nelson, who as an actor was unforgettable as Delmar in **O Brother, Where Art Thou?** , and as a director, helmed the critically acclaimed **O** and **The Grey Zone**.

Nah, it makes perfect sense, within the world that PT Anderson creates.
