“Rozen Maiden”. Because they left us hanging on major plot points. “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya”. Because I love those characters and there is plenty of material already written that could be adapted to a new season. “Squid Girl”. Because the world needs more INVASION! Non-anime choices: “Freaks and Geeks” “My So-Called Life” “Firefly” Because these were the greatest shows that died too soon. Of course, the first two are impossible because the leads have all grown up and moved on. ---

Another vote for _Human Target_-Jackie Earle Haley as Guerrero was great. _The Finder_-That show ended on a real downer for all. _John Doe_. ---

Add some votes for _ **Terriers** _ and _ **Pushing Daisies** _. The former was poorly marketed, though you can’t say FX didn’t give it a fair shot aside from that. It was perhaps the best show on TV when it was running, and it deserved many more seasons than one. The latter was a victim of the writers’ strike–it never really had a chance to properly establish an audience. I don’t know if it would’ve survived anyway, as it was perhaps too weird to live. But I would’ve liked it to have a fighting chance. Last, but not least, _ **Carnivale** _. The first two seasons were, in effect, a goddamn prologue to the actual story. It ended on perhaps the cliffhanger of all cliffhangers. At this point, I’d be happy with a comic book or a novel or just a goddamn one page plot summary of the rest of the series. Argh! ---

I’ll second The Finder, and NewsRadio, along with the necessary resurrections. I’ll add The Good Guys, which I thought was a hilarious take on the typical buddy cop idea. ---

There is only one show I’ve seen that ended at more of a cliffhanger, tbh, and that show is **The Strangerers**. Among the worst, while still most appropriate ending of a show I’ve seen. ---

Yes, Deadwood (and maybe Rome). Also, Better off Ted (nods to Face ILB), and add Wonderfalls. Also New Amsterdam. Terriers? I never heard of that show until today. Firefly? Can’t get the band back, and honestly, the show was so much better on DVD than TV. QL jumped the Selachimorpha early and high. Freaks and Geeks? No one, and I mean NO ONE watch the show when it was on. ---

A lot of votes for Deadwood, but honestly folks, that show already had its comeback season and it sucked big wet rocks. I’d put a lot of “prematurely ended” shows ahead of it, even though I really liked the first two seasons. ---

My So Called Life - because it had a huge fan base & died out prematurely… Left us hanging! To this day I can still relate. Sopranos - that was a rip off! All My Children- was like losing a family member. ---

Bring back _Enterprise_ - it was just barely starting to find its groove, after all that time wasted on pointless season arcs. Have someone with an eye toward ruthless military science fiction write it. I’ll write it. Fuck the reboot movies. Also _Brimstone_ - there are still ~102 evildoers to return to Hell and all. Third choice… I’ll think about it. ---

_Battlestar Galactica_–I’d like to see more of what happened to all the survivors as they scattered across the plains of ancient Africa. _Lost_–I don’t think they truly explained the real meaning of the numbers. And, it’s not like any of the main actors are doing anything now. _Star Trek–TOS_–Most of them are still alive, and I think Paramount has learned their lesson. ---

They all died out quickly, probably wiped out by a Cylon battle squadron within 25 years. I thought that was obvious. Since they tossed their own fleet into the sun, they couldn’t run and couldn’t fight. I’d settle for a mid-series reboot where the writers don’t fuck off and forget they’re writing a show with a consistent arc, history and mythology just to get the weird idea of the week in. ---
