Dig into the Anthology double set. There was a time when mostly all they did was rock originals, covers, or tributes. Lately I’m finding more and more that I prefer those Beatles most of all, when they were just working class lads paying tribute to the greats, before they picked up all the pretensions, effriperies, and quirks.
