I started memorizing spelling in my 20’s and phone numbers in my 30’s. Now I am great with e-mails. I have this amazing hearing. As I tell people: If you want to talk about me, wait till I leave. I forget nothing, like some other posters. My brain is full of trivia. People are dropped jawed when I repeat word for word conversations we had 10 years ago. I can type faster than an electric typewriter, and I am amzing on a computer. ---

I’ve always wanted an odd little talent too. I can wiggle my nose and ears, but I didn’t know this was something most people can’t do! People often remark on my ability to lift one eyebrow, like it’s some kind of talent. I do it consciously and unconsciously. I’ve been told it’s intimidating. (Hey Brunetter, between your letters and my eyebrow, we’re like Xena or something! Unconquerable!) LOL D Marie – at one time I had two cell phones (mine and hubby’s) and was living in Frankfort and working here. So I had four phone numbers, counting my office, then a separate 800-number to call my office from home memorized. I thought my head was going to explode. :eek: ---

If I didn’t already have a sweetie, I’d have some digits for you to memorize, too. _wink_ I just thought of another dubious talent I have. Three times in my life I’ve stolen a shot glass by smuggling it out of the bar in my cleavage. Nobody knew I had it there. Not as impressive, perhaps, as Sunshine’s six pack, but I was quite proud of myself. I have also (in my teenage years, I’m over it now) developed a mini-reputation for kypping small things: a single chocolate candy, a tube of lipgloss, etc. Not exactly shop-lifting, but making small, inexpensive things vanish and reappear somewhere else. Admittedly, sometimes it _was_ my house where it reappeared . . . I consider this a mostly harmless, fun skill but I don’t indulge it much anymore. I also like the reverse: to hide things. I hid a hard candy under the lid of my roommate’s deoderant for her to find, one in the toe of one of her socks . . . Actually, I don’t know if this is as much a talent as it is a hobby. I do have a whimsical streak. ---

1. Well, I am a jack of all trades. Can fix/repair most anything. Acquire new skills fast. 2. I have too good of a memory, for instance I can recall being in a place three years ago, I can remember the smell of the air, things around the room, my mood, whether I had a cold at the time, the tamber of voices…etc…it gets scary sometimes. 3. I play a mean guitar. I can’t think of any others.
