a drunken aussie on IRC once called me names for 30 minutes straight, never once repeating himself or using a real word. he ended the tirade with “fubbleskag muvversoink” also, it’s pronounced like “bubbleskag” not “boobleskag” in case you’re ever saying it out loud (9 out of 10 people mispronounce it in my experience - not sure why) ---

My username is the name of a character I made up when I was in high school. She was a complete Mary Sue (sexy elf warrior who was like, brutal and stuff), but she was fun to write. And I liked her name. I pronounce it “My-EER-uh,” in case anyone’s wondering. ---

A fools cap is what jesters wear (also called the Hat Of The Four Winds) A very useful hat that has three points stuffed with straw, making a crude pillow if needed, and the fourth point left open and used for a pocket. And, fools cap is a kind of cheap paper The word just amuses me. ---

I’ve posted it somewhere before, but the jist of it is that I wanted an actual name, i.e. a word that has only been used to identify people. So I made mine by taking my favorite prefix (I was into Latin at the time) and attaching a good-sounding second part. ---

“Mr. Excellent” was my old DJ name, back at my college radio station. As for why I picked it back then - no idea, really, except that I’d decided my schtick was going to be that I was an insane presidential candidate, and “Mr. Excellent for President” sounded like a neat idea for a show name. ---
