Awesome story. Talk about patient!

Can’t help but wonder about that waitress - a case of real bad stupidity? Someone giving their …different…relative a job? Wonder how long that job lasted? Questions without answers…

> do you remember the episode of COSBY where Rudy receives massive irreparable brain damage in a snow-plow accident?

It was a Very Special Episode. The image of Theo holding Rudy’s wracked body, looking up to the sky and shouting “NOOOOOOOOOO!”, has haunted me for years.

That was Star Wars Ep. 3. I didn’t know Cosby was in that. Jesus, between that and Leonard Part Six, he’s got a lot to atone for.

Most Star Wars trivia buffs know that Bill Cosby was the original voice of Vader. Unfortunately he wouldn’t stay to the script.

Sample audio transcript:

_I find… your lack of faith… disturbing… you know? Disturbing like this time that Old Weird Harold… you know… he had a piece of spinach on his teeth and he’s up there Heyyyy and How y’all and we kept saying Hey, Old Weird Harold, you got spinach on your teeth! And he said…_

_There’s a disturbance in the Force… disturbance… or perturbance… the most disturbed I ever got was when I took my daughters to Sea World… now I have four daughters, and all of them… own… tutus… and they wanted to see… a whale…_

The above was the one that made Sir Alec charge him with a Luger on the third take.

> Anyway, one of my worst “experinces” was at a Mexican restaurant near Universal Studios of Hollywood. I don’t remember what dish I ordered, but it took almost an hour to arrive, and it tasted somewhat like raw sewage smells. Unfortunately, I was so damn hungry by then I couldn’t wait for another dish to be prepared.

If it tastles like raw sewage smells why the hell did you eat it? Seriously…I’ve been super duper ain’t ate for nearly 2 days hungry and I still wouldn’t eat something that tasted like basically shit.

Not bashing you, just curious. I’ve seen people with food poisoning. Ain’t pretty.

> I was working in Romania back in about 1991, when food was in short supply and restaurants only stocked enough food to feed people who had reservations. Three of us took a chance and went to a hotel to eat. Two waiters to came to our table, one of whom spoke marginal English. The conversation went something like this:
>
> Waiter: Hello sirs! What you like?
> Me: A menu to start.
> W: No menu! What you like?
> Me: How about a steak?
> W: No steak! What you like?
> Me: well, what do you have?
> W: We have everything! What you like?
> Me: Ummm…fish?
> W: No fish! What you like?
> Me: No fish, no steak? What DO you have?
> W: We have everything! What you like?
> Me (fading): Chicken?
> W (and all three of us in unison): No chicken! What you like?
>
> We left hungry.

Damn you. I spit out my drink! 😃
