You're a bridge officer on the ENTERPRISE. In what episode do you say, "Screw this, I'm going home?"

I’d want to see how she’s programmed before I make any final decision. :o

What bothered me was when he crushed the cube it was obvious that Kirk was rooting for the other guy crewman to be the one killed. When the guy survived instead of her it was supposed to be more tragic. I remember thinking when I was a kid “Why is the girls life more important?”

I’m out the second they tell me I have to wear a skant.

[Foghorn Leghorn]I say… I say… That was a joke, son.[/FL]

hijack: Speaking of this, if you recall the “Encounter at Farpoint” episode, Data has to explain to Riker (granted, it’s a device really aimed at the audience) the idea of a holodeck. You would think the prospective First Officer would have done just a little bit of research on the particulars of a Galaxy-class starship.

Mop cleanup duty for the holodeck? Bye-bye.

I recommend everyone read Redshirts.

Aren’t they landing if they’re going on a planet though?

In any case, the first time we hit a space barrier and my bud Gary gets zapped into a glowing eyed god.

Screw this, I’m going home.

When everyone (except for the command folks) loses Holodeck privileges after lame-ass Lt. Barclay ruins it for the rest of us.

Landing on a planet, boarding another ship.

In ST-Voyager, When Janeway and Paris are turned into giant slugs, and mate . . . and I’m next in line.

It’s amazing how often that one scene is the answer to so many ST questions.

What, you don’t care for the “Magnus, Robot Fighter” look?!? :dubious:

Riker calling me “sexist” when I complain that my ugly dress uniform actually looks like a dress would piss me off too.

I dunno. I always thought Lt. Barclay showed an extreme amount of sense. He’s seen what the holodeck can do, he’s seen way too many transporter accidents, I don’t blame him one bit!

Nearly all the crew on Voyager were ready to quit when the replicators were rationed. They had to eat Neelix’s home cooked food.

The breaking point was when Neelix’s ingredients spawned some kind of bio hazard that invaded the entire ship. That’s the time to hand in your resignation.

Yeah, Charlie X, or Where No Man Has Gone Before, or The Enemy Within. I loved traveling to distant stars and planets for a few weeks, but come on, staying on this ship is just a death wish.

The first episode of TNG.

“You mean there’s an omnipotent being that can do anything and answers to no one and plays with our lives for fun?? Screw this shit, I’m going home!”

shrug I knew the job was dangerous when I took it.

Regarding things like being flipped by Q into Borg space, how much of that would I be aware of if I were, say, working in the hydroponics garden?

duuuddddeee - gnarly cybernetics mannnn

Never. Risk is our business.
But on TNG, the second time Wes saves the ship and I realize that the senior officers are all idiots.
