**Uzi** is kind of reminding me of those people who voluntarily choose not to engage in an activity themselves, yet still feel the need to chastise others for engaging in that same activity due to some misplaced jealousy. I can’t drink more than two drinks at any given time due to stomach issues. I catch myself being really snarky and judgmental towards people that go out to bars or parties and get wasted, even if it’s only once in awhile. Difference is, I’m mature enough to realize that my judgment is coming from a place of jealousy. I wish I could go out to a bar and tie one on every now and again and not always have to be the babysitter due to my stupid stomach. I could be mistaken, but I remember some thread I think **Uzi** started about how lame drinking is and how stupid everyone who drinks is. I believe he mentioned that he hates the taste of alcohol, so he doesn’t drink. I think the absolutest view he’s employing in this thread is a product of his own jealousy towards those who _can_ enjoy even just one drink like the majority of American adults. There’s really no other explanation for his complete refusal to listen to any sort of logical counter argument. Because he can’t do it, no one else should be able to: period. Just my armchair analysis. ---

Zero. Nadda. Got it? I have no problem being around people who drink responsibly. Zero, Nadda. Got it? Those who drink too much? I don’t hang around with, nor do I make allowances for them eg. pick them up off the floor if they are drowning in their own vomit. Well, that is a rather absolute statement. Let’s just say unless I really, really am feeling in a kind mood, and they are a close friend. Frankly, I don’t know why I have to go past saying that a good percentage of traffic deaths could be avoided if people took driving more seriously and didn’t take chance by drinking beforehand. ---

Your position thus far in this thread has been that no one should get in a car even after one beer. That is not drinking to excess. That is what people are arguing with you about. Not that long ago I had a single (awesome) margarita with a good Mexican meal immediately before getting on the highway and driving 100 miles. I’m not a heavy drinker; any tolerance I have is purely through mass. I can tell you I drove more responsibly than 90% of those idiots on the road that night. One drink ain’t shit. ---
