I will: Oh MY!
Exactly. My cats see them all the time. Now I get to drive them crazy as they drove me in life.
Boo!
Whales come up for air and hang out, I could live with that . . . even if I’m not alive!
I’m also going into Yellowstone and go into those areas people are not allowed. Like the Grand Prismatic Spring.
I’d work at finding a way to break my lingering connection to this corporeal world and move on the realm I should be entering. I don’t belong here anymore; I want to move on.
That’s some dedicated Multi-Tasking!
What, are you in a hurry to get somewhere? You’re dead. You have all the time in the world.
Personally, I’d love the opportunity to spend centuries walking the Earth, seeing the sights.
One day the world will end. The sun will go nova, the earth turn to a cinder. And you’ll still be here.
Do ghosts outlive the universe? 10^150 years is a mighty long time.
Riker: One at a time, or all at once?
Only mostly dead. There’s a big difference.
So if you go through walls do you also go through floors? When does wall become floor? What about stairs? What if you fall down a well?
If you fall down a well, Ghost Lassie will run for help.
Walked from Tacoma to Portland many years ago and, believe me, “The journey is half the fun” loses it’s luster about 30 miles out.
When it leaves the room.
This. I’d try to figure out how to get into Heaven so I can slowly stroll around listening to harp music.
What a coincidence-That is the exact same reason I would use not to move on to Heaven.
Isn’t there already a ghost in the corner of your bedroom? Would you have to pick another corner, or can you overlap?
Which would annoy the cats more?
You might have an eternity. Why the rush?
I think my main concern would be the boredom thing, and how to avoid it. Maybe hang around a few campuses and audit a few classes. I’ve traveled some by myself, so I could handle that, I expect. It might be fun to see some of the exotic places where I’d otherwise be too chicken to risk my corpus. I roughly know where the Darien Gap is – might be fun to see what’s going on there.
Nah, I’ll skip the Arctic, Antarctic, Mount Everest. The Marianas Trench, even if I could figure out ‘how’. I don’t doubt they’ve all got their own great majesty; it’s more like I just know that I couldn’t appreciate them enough.
Wait, I’ve got a big question. Can I interact with other ghosts? If so, that opens up a whole bunch of socializing opportunities.
Ouija boards, here I come.
