You all suck on this here message board, ya’ know? 😛 Bastids. So, here I am this past weekend, idling lazily along at **auntie em** ’s pad, when I actually bother to check my e-mail. And what do I find? Thanks for asking. 😉 I’ve several alerts from my web hoster alerting me to the rather alarming fact that I’ve almost reached my data transfer limit for the month. “Huh,” I thought to myself. “My web site rocks! I’m a popular person! People love me!” And then, a few seconds later: “No. None of that is true. What da’ fugggggggg is going on?” By the time I actually get home to check it all out, the total data transfer has gone waaaaay past my usual 1.5GB to over 6.5GB. And what page is the evil offender? Thanks, again, for asking. You’re all heart. Turns out that the page most often requested (for some reason or another) is the one I set up last year with the high school pics of the handful of Dopers who participated in the project. I mean, hell, last year when the thread was up and going I never had that many hits. So why the sudden surge in “I wanna see what Skippy’s got pasted up!”–I dunno; it kinda confuses me. (Okay, okay… I’ll admit it. Squirrels confuse me. Guinea pigs, even more so. So, I suppose interest in a web page ain’t a big leap for the big ol’ barrel of misunderstanding in my life.) Because of the above, you’re all a bunch of sum’bitches! I had to spend, what, maybe a whole $20 extra smackeroos to cover my transfer limits this month. It’s yer fault. Not mine. Never mine. :eek: The SDMB High School Pics will eventually be back up–just on another host, mind you. A free one. Free as the bears and the antelope play. Or as the antelopes play with the beer. Who knows? Bunch of drunken deer-wannabes, those stupid antelopes. They’re probably petitioning Don Bluth right now to come out with an “Andi” movie so as to kick Bambi’s popularity in the ass. ---
