I recognize a couple of her songs._ Justin Timberlake _Sigh…90’s guy still carrying on._ Beyonce _Still waiting for some new talent…_ Justin Bieber _…aiiiggghh. Put me back in the 90’s. Please!_ Some of them might mention Nikki Minaj _No idea_ Snoop _Again, not remotely new_ Jay Z _No idea_ Black Keys _Heard of for the first time last week, like their stuff_ Adele _Mrs G loves her and plays her constantly_ Glee _Have never watched it, though commercials for it saturate the airwaves_ Florence and the Machine _No idea_ * * * So for the test results, I find myself scoring very highly on 1990s pop culture and music. Based on a statistical sampling of the test, the pop-culture of hot-button 20-something youth is really just 60% 1990s nostalgia. ---

On the blessing side, it lets you listen to hours on end of music you’ll probably like. Why I wasn’t allowed in there has always escaped me.) So chances are even if I had a video console, it would have sucked to play on it. I’m 47, watch HGTV, NatGeo, History- type TV and the only radio I listen to is whatever someone else is playing in the car. I get most of my entertainment on the internet. **Gwen Stephanie** Does she still wear those ridiculous stilt high-heels and run around with Japanese anime girls come to life? **P Diddy** How long has it been since he’s created a pop group and then ritually consumed their flesh in a vain attempt at gaining a little talent for himself? **Maroon 5** I bought Songs About Jane. For myself. To have. **Christina Aguilera** Used to love her. Now I can’t look at her because she looks like she’s a Christina Aguilera blow-up doll. **Katy Perry** Love her. Not enough to buy her CD, though. I usually don’t buy music. **Justin Timberlake** He can be funny. Not an awful actor. Picks pretty good song producers. **Beyonce** She better pray her kid looks like her and not her fugly husband.
