# You're in charge of downloadable content for Rock Band - what do you get out there?

They should have a Tragically Hip pack:

New Orleans is Sinking  
Blow at High Dough  
At the Hundredth Meridian  
Locked in the Trunk of a Car  
Courage  
Boots or Hearts

On the Canadian theme, a little Colin James would fit the game nicely:

Voodoo Thing  
Just Came Back  
Why’d You Lie

And for that party band experience, nothing beats cheezy 70’s anthems:

Signs - Five Man Electrical Band  
Sweet City Woman - The Stampeders  
Clap for the Wolfman - The Guess Who

But what I’d really love is if they started delving a little into alt-country. I’d love to play “Impossible Germany” or any number of songs by Wilco, or any number of songs by the Jayhawks. Both bands feature good vocals and excellent instrument parts.

Jimi Hendrix, Jimi Hendrix, and more Jimi Hendrix. Seriously, there are hardly any Hendrix songs that _aren’t_ perfect for Rock Band and (especially) Guitar Hero. They’re so perfect, in fact, I suspect it’s just a licensing problem.

Actually, Hendrix was just [announced](http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/21/jimi-hendrix-joins-guitar-hero-world-tour/) as an exclusive for GH4. Ohwell.

I sorta preferred it à la GH1, where there was too much respect for the man to even pretend to get a cover singer during Spanish Castle Magic.
