Okay, earlier when i bet is was Warren, I meant, if the song is about anyone in particular, it is Warren. But I really doubt it is anyone specifically. I write poems and songs a lot and I recently wrote a poem a lot like “Your’e So Vain”. * * * Torn to Pieces I crouch in the darkness, looking at your photograph . I am torn between worship and hatred. My love, my hate, the unknown mix and further fuel my insanity. I lay there crying, not knowing why. I need to hold you, I need to hurt you, I need you to hold me, I need you to hurt me. I need to go back to the begining, I need to go to the end. I am lost, I am confused, I am torn. The feelings don’t cancel eachother out, they just strengthen eachother. I am gone, I am insane, I am torn to pieces… %n how sure can you be the photo isn’t of you? This was originally in my info on a.i.m and anyone who read it, there name popped in there. I actually got a couple of people to freak out about it. ---

And of course, the irony is that whoever the guy is, the song’s not about him at all. It’s about Carly Simon, and that’s the whole point of the song. 🙂 ---
