As of 10am PST tomorrow morning, I will be the owner of a 1988 Supercharged Toyota MR2! The car has T-tops, 5 speed tranny, and a very nice stereo. A friend has graciously uploaded some unflattering pictures. I’ve been tossing around a few different ideas and would like to decide what I want while my parents can still give it to me as a Hanukah/Christmas present. [http://plates.ca.gov/search/](http://plates.ca.gov/search/) lets you see what California combinations are available. So far, I like: JERSMR2 LAWMILL SUPAH2 KICKIN2 GOMR2GO Most of the "MR\*\*\*\*\*"s(eg:MRSPEED) are taken, I have yet to find a good one that isn’t. The "2\*\*\*\*\*\*"s also seem to be taken. However, I’m sure that you guys can come up with some combinations that are way better than that. Anything that involves soccer, my name(Jeremy), or MR2s would be awesome. ---

Cool…I used to have an '87 MR2. I loved the car, but I had to sell it when I moved to the boonies cause it was to low to clear the drifts on an unplowed road. ☹ So I had to get a 4WD, plus my dog was too big to fit in it. I don’t know what to suggest for a vanity plate, but I always called mine MISTER2. I would guess that’s already taken. I miss that car _sniff_ ---

Whatever you do, don’t use the word “Toy” or – even worse – “TOYZ” on your plate. I hate, hate, hate that. My dad has a handicap plate “CRIP.” I’m not kidding. ---

Who cares about the plate? What you need is a boost over ride for the turbo, a reconfigured control unit from Jim Wolf technologies, over-sized cotton air filter, and a bigger exhaust. X-drilled rotors and teflon brake lines would be nice too, if you plan on stopping at all. Pop a wheelie, baby. ---

Hmm, my mother said that “SUPAH2” might be racially offensive to some people of African descent. Maybe I’m just naive, but I don’t see why. Is “supah” an insult to Black English? MRMR2 is still available. The car is very fast, but I’d like to stay ticket free and keep the shiny side up for as long as possible. ---

SPDFRK1 and SPDFRK2 are both available. I’ve only seen one car with a SPDFRK\ license plate, and that was in Arkansas.
