In the evening before bed my family and I sit down and watch YouTube vids on our tv. It’s tricky to find things that interest adults AND a 7 and 10 year old and also keep swearing and violence to a minimum. I also can only handle a minimum of cute animal clips.

**Daily Dose of Internet** is pretty good, essentially a variety show of extreme sports, weird things, animals doing silly things.

**SciShow** can get very technical, but there are lighter videos the kids seem to enjoy

**nononoyes** can be entertaining as it’s mostly accidents but miraculously no one really gets injured, however there is some profanity in a few videos

**Oversimplified** small animated history lessons my children somehow think are very funny, I want them to learn more about history so it’s great, but I can’t figure out why they like it so much.

What else yeah got?

You want Smarter Every Day on Sea Turtles:

Not all his videos are going to appeal to a 7 year old, but I think this one will.
