Just a reminder that tonight is [Yuri’s Night](http://yurisnight.net/) - the anniversary of the first manned space flight, made by Yuri Gagarin on April 12, 1961. Celebrations are planned all around the world, and you can use that link to find out if there is one close to you. And if you’re not close to one, go outside tonight and look up, and contemplate how far we’ve come in the last 50 years, and how far we have to go.

Saw an article online Monday, April 12, just 4 days ago. So, 2021. Hilariously, they got the anniversary wrong in both their headline and article, claiming that it was the 40th anniversary of the first manned spaceflight, not the 60th.
