All it takes it the lopsided attitudes of society when it comes to such accusations. Since women can ruin men’s lives with little risk of retaliation, some will do so. Informed consent is a dishonest solution? Why do you have anything to do with women if you consider any interaction with them adversarial? “Hey, I think it’s best that we tape this encounter, just to eliminate the possibility of any misunderstandings down the line.” What is the disadvantage of that, other than simply not getting laid? And if it’s just not getting laid, then you are a sleazy motherfucker who thinks that you’re entitled to sex under circumstances that a woman would not knowingly agree to. ---

I don’t want them to leave themselves vulnerable, I want them to be honest and get consent. But apparently you think it’s dishonest to expect honesty. You (admittedly not unreasonably) don’t believe that’s possible to get laid while laying bare your hatred and fear of women, so your solution is to be an utter sleazebag. Own it. ---

If you think it’s totally reasonable to protect yourself by videotaping, perhaps you can explain why every woman on earth would find it unreasonable to the extent of refusing to have sex with you.
