I know of only one Christian, and they nailed him to a cross for it. Members of organized religion learned a valuable lesson from this, and have ever since striven to act in a way he would have found offensive. So far, it has worked. ---

I’m Christian? Oy gevalt, what a shock. I’m all fartootst. I find myself stunned and breathless, as if somebody had given me a big zetz right in the poopik. Mamale, Tatale, my sister, the whole mishpucha will plotz when they find out. Mamale may weep and tell me how farshadat she feels because of what I’ve done. Or, she may just plotz from the tsuris. What will will my bright, pretty niece (Koina hura) do when she finds her Unc Unc is a gentile? How do I spend the rest of my life? I should know from the goy lifestyle? Does this mean I should throw out that jar of gefilte fish? Because, when you feel the need to nosh on some fish that’s been mixed with onions, potatoes, and pickled, it’s really something. Do I need to go and have somebody uncut my shmecke? Should I hire somebody like that gonif shiske Martha Whatsername to come and goy-ify my apartment? At an emotional moment like this, I could really use some nice chocolate ruggeleh. But, at this time of night, the Refusnik grocery store is closed. I have no car, and I refuse to shlep the six miles to the closest Superfresh in the hope that maybe, G-d willing, they ruggeleh. I’m a goy, and I have no ruggeleh, or mandelbroidt, or shnecken, I don’t even have the ingredients to make a nice Jewish apple cake. What’s a goy to do? Tragedy like this, I don’t need.
